Feeding Program at Mother Ignacia Kindergarten School |

Milk Feeding Program |

The Nutrition Feeding Program for Mother Ignacia Kindergarten School, Batasan Hills
was launched last July 25, 2008. The objective is to provide nutrition to these children to enable them to grow both physically and mentally.
Some 210 children, aged 5-7, benefit from this weekly feeding program. The regular schedule for the feeding program is every Friday morning and afternoon. |

The Milk Feeding Program is a joint Project with RC New Manila East and RC Itcheon Bubal of
Korea. It
is a milk feeding program being given to children in the primary grade
which aims to provide for the malnourished Grade 1 pupils of Batasan Elementary School. |

Mass Anti-Rabies Dog Vaccination |

|
This yearly program targetting dog owners in the Batasan Hills area benefits
at least 50 dogs within the Barangay. Aside from the free vaccines,
this is event is also used to promote responsible dog ownership. |

Done annually at the Batasan Hills Covered Court
through the help of the PCSO and other health oriented
groups including the Batasan Hills Rotaractors, this
program brings together more than 30 doctors and
serves at least 500 patients for free. |

and Story Telling for Kids |

This program consists of two avenues. While the
parents are busy seeking assistance from our lawyers
about their legal concerns, the children are being
entertained by Story Tellers. This benefits
residents of Batasan Hills and the nearby Barangays in
learning more about legal remedies for free. |

Gift giving for students of Mother Ignacia Pre-School
is annually conducted to let the less fortunate
children of Mother Ignacia Preparatory School feel the
spirit of Christmas. |

After the onslaught of Typhoon "Ondoy", RCBH
and its Rotaractors were quick to respond by assisting
and distributing relief goods to the residents of San
Mateo, Rizal - one of the hardest hit areas. |

2010 is an election year. As such, the club
assisted the COMELEC in the registration of new voters and update of registration of current voters
for the residents of Northview 2 and Filhomes 2 |

RCBH co-sponsored the Alay ng Rotary sa Araw ng Kabataan Celebration held at the Amoranto Sports Complex, QC. RCBH was assigned to handle the Folk Dance Event. There are 13 events, which was participated in by 143 public schools from Quezon City, including the adopted schools of
RCBH. |

With the generous support of PP Rene Trinidad, the club donated a push cart to a widow with three grandchildren who greatly appreciated the donation which became their main source of livelihood. |

Fifteen (15) teachers from the Batasan Elementary School were sponsored by the club to attend the seminar on Developmental Approach to Teaching Math at the Entrepreneur School of Asia, in Taguig last March 2010. |

Five (5) teachers / parents from Mo. Ignacia Pre-School, Batasan Hills, were sponsored by the club to attend the four (4) day - Career Development Training Seminar at
Miriam College, Quezon City last December 2009. |

RCBH sent ten (10) students from our adopted school, Batasan National High School, to attend a tri-topic seminar on Child Abuse & Welfare, Reproductive Health & Responsible Parenthood and Right Food & Nutrition. Congressman Edcel
Lagman, past president of RC South Triangle, was one of the speakers. The event is part of the Rotary’s Literacy Program. |
