The Rotary Club of Batasan Hills (RCBH) is a part of Rotary International (RI) under RI District 3780, the world’s first service club organization made up of nearly 33,000 clubs distributed in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. It is a global network of business and professional leaders who volunteer their time and talents to serve their communities and the world.

  • 1905 - Chicago attorney Paul Harris organizes first Rotary meeting on 23 February, leading to formation of the Rotary Club of Chicago
  • 1911-13 - Clubs formed in Canada, Great Britain, and Ireland; organization name changes to International Association of Rotary Clubs.
  • 1916-17 - President Arch Klumph proposes establishing an endowment fund, precursor of The Rotary Foundation
  • 1919 - Leon J. Lambert organizes the Rotary Club of Manila, the first in Asia
  • 1937-38 - Carlos P. Romulo, a renowed Statesman, becomes the first filipino to hold a high position at Rotary International, he was 3rd Vice President.
  • 1957-58 - Former Senate President Gil J. Puyat was appointed to the RI Board of Directors as 1st Vice President 
  • 1979-80 - Foundation grant to immunize six million Philippine children against polio sets stage for PolioPlus.
  • 1986-87 - M. A. T. Caparas becomes the first and only Filipino President of Rotary International. His Theme was Rotary Brings Hope.  He was also the man behind the Rotary Community Corps (RCC)
  • 1988-89 - First women join Rotary. Rotary returns to Hungary and Poland.
  • 1989-90 - Rotary International District 3780—which includes all chartered Rotary Clubs within the territory of Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines—was formally established by Rotary International.
  • 1995 - RCBH was chartered on December 3 under the presidency of Ben Sison.  A former president of RC Kamuning.  (Club ID No. 31159)
  • 1996-1998. - Sabino “Benny” Santos served as RI Director during RY 1996-1998.
  • 2004-05 - Clubs celebrate Rotary’s centennial by launching hundreds of Centennial Community Projects and contributing thousands of volunteer hours.
  • 2005 - RCBH celebrates 10 years
  • 2009 - RCBH is recognized with 12 awards by District 3780.
