 Membership to the Club is by invitation only. Once invited, a
candidate will pass through several stages of screening before
being confirmed by the Membership Committee. Potential members are
chosen for being of good character of and good business,
professional, or community reputation.
Once a person becomes part of RCBH, one gets the B.E.S.T.-R.C.
- Business
development-Networking opportunities are endless. Rotary
consists of a cross-section from every business community and
its members come from all walks of life. Rotarians help each
other and collectively help others.
- Ethics -
Encouraging high ethical standards and respect for all worthy
vocations has been a hallmark of Rotary from its earliest
days. In their business and professional lives, Rotarians
abide by The Four-Way Test
- Self Fulfillment
for being able to give back to the community - Through Rotary,
service to local and overseas communities is well organized
and rewarding.
- Travel
opportunities - Every Rotarian can interact with any member of
the 33,000 clubs located in more than 200 countries and
geographical regions which makes foreign travel easier. There
are also exchange programs and international conferences that
can be attended.
- Recreation and
Friendship - One will find peers and lots of things to do for
him / her and their families at the Rotary. Informal parties
and family gatherings are part of the usual activities.
- Continued
Learning, Personal Growth and Development –Due to the
variety of people that one can meet and listen to as well as
the projects that one will be involved in, a member will
develop leadership, public speaking, social, business,
personal and vocational skills as well as improve cultural
awareness.
